Privacy Policy
This site is run by Lachlan Smith, a private individual in Victoria, Australia. It is a small editorial site about mobile games. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to personal information in connection with it. It is written with reference to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What the site collects
Nothing. There are no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up, no comments, no account system and no advertising or analytics scripts. Pages are plain HTML and CSS with one small JavaScript file that opens the menu and remembers your cookie choice. No profile is built, and no information is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
If you write to us
Writing to [email protected] means your email address, your name if you sign it, and whatever you choose to put in the message reach our mailbox. That correspondence is used for one purpose: replying to you. The lawful basis is your own decision to make contact. Threads are kept for up to 24 months so that a follow-up makes sense, then deleted. Email is carried by the mail provider hosting the domain mailbox; it is not forwarded to any other service, and no messaging bots are connected to it.
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard access logs — IP address, time, requested file, browser string — as part of running a web server and keeping it secure. Those logs are the provider's, are kept for a short retention period, and are not combined with anything else or used to identify readers.
Your rights
You can ask what correspondence we hold from you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Email the address above and say which of those you want; we will act on it within a reasonable period and confirm when it is done. If you believe your privacy has been mishandled, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Children
The site is written for adults choosing games, not for children. We do not knowingly hold information about anyone under 15.
Changes
If the site ever adds something that collects data, this page is updated before that goes live, and the date at the top changes with it.
